The ministry of spiritual care focuses on the spiritual and emotional well-being of patients, family members and associates.
We have chaplains available to offer support and comfort at times of illness, injury and crisis. In keeping with our mission, chaplains honor the sacredness and dignity of all persons at every stage of life, and offer prayer and a listening presence to people of all faith traditions. When requested to do so, spiritual care staff will contact the patient's own clergy.
The meditation room at Ripon Medical Center and chapels at St. Agnes Hospital and Waupun Memorial Hospital are open 24 hours a day. People of all faiths are welcome to visit for meditation, prayer, and scheduled religious and spiritual health-related programs.
Communion is distributed to Catholic patients who wish to partake. Patients may also request communion from their personal clergy.
