Dr. Bertram diagnoses and treats disorders, diseases and injuries of the foot, ankle and lower leg. He is dedicated to getting patients back on their feet and back into their lives. He specializes in a variety of foot ailments and issues, including: reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, arthritis, arthroscopy, nerve injuries, sports injuries, fracture care, Achilles tendon disorders, bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, plantar fasciitis, heel pain, bone spurs, ingrown toenails, toenail fungus, diabetic limb salvage, pinched nerves, flat feet, diabetic foot care, warts, wound care, pediatric conditions, trauma, occupational foot and ankle care, and ankle replacements.
He earned his podiatric medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, and completed his podiatric foot and ankle surgery residency at the Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Bertram is a native Fond du Lac resident and has returned to his hometown. He enjoys cooking, lake activities, outdoors, hockey and golf, and the Green Bay Packers.
