Jay Muller, MD

As a board-certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Muller offers comprehensive healthcare services to men and women, including preventive care, diagnosis and non-surgical treatment.

Internal medicine doctors, also called internists, specialize in diagnosing and treating adult health concerns. They have had specialty training focusing on the prevention and treatment of adult diseases. They also are trained to solve diagnostic concerns, and can treat severe chronic illnesses and situations where several different illnesses may strike at the same time.

They also bring to patients an understanding of wellness (disease prevention and the promotion of health), women’s health, substance abuse, and mental health, as well as effective treatment of common concerns of the eyes, ears, skin, nervous system and reproductive organs. When other medical specialists, such as surgeons, are involved, internal medicine physicians coordinate their patient’s care and manage medical conditions associated with that care.

“I work together with my patients to establish goals and educate them on the implications of care and impact on their lives,” says Dr. Muller. “We work collaboratively to determine the most effective ways for them to live a healthier life.”
