We seek to preserve, make available and expand the legacy of Darold Treffert, MD, an internationally respected researcher in autism, hyperlexia, savant syndrome and related conditions.
Haley is a certified speech-language pathologist (SLP) who is committed to providing speech and language services to all patients, through motivating and innovative therapy sessions, because she believes that everyone deserves a voice. Haley has experience working with both pediatric and adult populations including pediatric developmental speech and language disorders/delays (i.e. articulation and phonological disorders), expressive/receptive language, apraxia, fluency, pragmatics and social use of language, as well as voice and swallowing disorders.
"I specialize in Biofeedback and EEG Biofeedback, commonly known as Neurofeedback, as a focal point of my practice. I find this very effective in the treatment of ADD/ADHD, PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, learning disorders, Asperger’s, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety and depression.
Sonja is a board-certified occupational therapist with over seven years of experience working in both home and school-based therapies for children with a wide range of disabilities, primarily children with autism and sensory processing difficulties. Her passion is working to help all children work towards independence in all areas of life. Sonja is excited to welcome children and families to work as a team, in order to achieve daily independence, through the Treffert Center.
"I focus on neuropsychological assessments of children, adolescents and young adults in the areas of autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disorders, traumatic brain injury, seizure disorders and other brain based disorders."
Bryan's focus is on strength-based approaches empowering clients to use their gifts and strengths as the foundation of their treatment. He also specializes in in working with those on the autism spectrum that may be struggling with anxiety, depression or need to increase their social understanding.
Other specialties include ADHD, developmental delays in children and career development, EMDR and neuro/biofeedback to treat trauma, phobias and obsessive compulsive disorders.
Christopher provides evaluation of children and adolescents, including assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder, AD/HD, learning issues, and clarification of cognitive strengths and challenges. He has background in the areas of pediatric neuropsychology and behavior analysis, with particular experience in assessment and intervention for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
