“I like to look at the person as a whole when providing care,” according to Engel. “It’s important to spend time educating the patient on the best treatment plan and care.”
A graduate of the Tabriz University of Medical Sciences in Tabriz, Iran, Dr. Alizadegan completed a general surgery residency at the University of Illinois and Iran University of Medical Sciences, as well as his vascular and interventional radiology fellowship from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
“In my role as a hospitalist, I take care of every patient as if they were family,” says Dr. Asimah. “I appreciate working in a team environment that offers collaborative care to the patients and families that we serve.” Dr. Asiamah and his wife have three children. In his free time, he enjoys soccer, food and art.

Dr. Bangash will work with other physicians to provide 24-hour coverage for patients in the St. Agnes Hospital Intensive Care Unit who are critically ill or injured, or who suffer from acute and chronic pain.
“My goal is to do everything for the patient that I can,” says Dr. Bangash. “The care I provide is driven by patients’ wants and desires, and I want to ensure they are as comfortable as possible at all times.” In his spare time, Dr. Bangash enjoys reading (current affairs, poetry and literature), and is active in sports, including cricket, golf and tennis.
An anesthesiologist offers preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care for patients in the administration of medications to control pain and support life functions during surgery. “In all that we do, the patient always comes first,” says Dr. Bellmore. “It is important to treat the whole patient, whether that means addressing their spiritual, emotional or physical needs.” A graduate of the Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Bellmore completed his anesthesiology residency at the Mayo Clinic. “I am excited to join a group where the needs of the patient come first,” he says.
Dr. Bertram received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and is board certified in Surgery. He previously served as chairman of the General and Specialty Surgery department for Community Memorial Hospital. Dr. Bertram offers multiple surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and open abdominal surgery, breast, carpal tunnel, colon, endocrine system, hernia repair, pediatric, skin and soft tissue, surgical critical care, surgical oncology, trauma/burns and emergency surgery, trigger finger and vascular surgery.
Dr. Bertram diagnoses and treats disorders, diseases and injuries of the foot, ankle and lower leg. He is dedicated to getting patients back on their feet and back into their lives.
