Walk with a Doc and Agnesian HealthCare encourage healthy physical activity in people of all ages, and reverse the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle in order to improve the health and well-being of the country.

Join a provider on the first, second and third Wednesday of each month from 6 to 7 p.m., and every Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. to begin your commitment of improved health and well-being.

Step it Up! The Surgeon General of the United States recommends 150 minutes of weekly exercise to:

  • Lower your risk of heart disease and stroke, type 2 diabetes, breast and colon cancers, and depression
  • Maintain or lose weight
  • Boost your energy
  • Improve your sleep
  • Reduce stress
  • Redue your risk of falls
  • Delay the onset of cognitive decline and dementia

Agnesian HealthCare's Breastfeeding Support Group is a free community service facilitated by Jodi DeMaa, RN-C, IBCLC, and Rita Parker, RN, IBCLC, St. Agnes Hospital Women & Infants Unit lactation consultants.

Classes are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.

Preregistration is not required.

Heartsaver First Aid teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Skills iniclude how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
