Cedar Valley Retreat Center
5349 County Road D
West Bend, WI 53090

Agnesian HealthCare's Bereavement Center is excited to announce the 2017 dates of its annual Kids Survival Kamp - June 20 to 21 - at Cedar Valley Retreat Center in West Bend.

Kids Survival Kamp is a two-day, overnight camp for children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, grandparent or other family member or friend. The purpose of Kids Survival Kamp is to provide children a safe place to grieve openly while being supported by their peers and trained staff and volunteers; but most importantly to have a little summer fun. We have many different activities planned: grief-related activities, arts projects, hiking, fishing, swimming, campfire, movie night and an exciting obstacle course to complete the camping trip. Weather permitting, we will spend most of our time outside, but we sleep inside the retreat center.

The cost of providing this Kamp is approximately $350 per child; however, due to the generosity of the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation, there is no charge to attend Kids Survival Kamp. All meals, snacks and drinks are provided.

Registration to attend must be completed by Friday, June 9, 2017, for a child to be considered for Kids Survival Kamp.

Space is limited at only 40 children. We are unable to accept all applicants, and try to introduce new participants to Kids Survival Kamp each year.

If confirmed as a participant, a confirmation letter will be sent or you will be contacted by a staff member directly.
