St. Agnes Hospital, as a member of Agnesian HealthCare, was recently recognized by the Southeast Regional Trauma Advisory Council for its consistent and outstanding commitment to collecting and sharing trauma data.

This data provides St. Agnes Hospital staff the information needed to provide the highest level of trauma care to their patients. The team received three honors, including a silver award for data timeliness, silver award for data completeness, and a bronze award for data quality.

“We are honored to have received these awards,” says Brenda Kissinger, ATCN, RN, St. Agnes Hospital’s Emergency Department EMS/Trauma supervisor. “Our team does an incredible job and it shows through the number of awards, as well as the overriding categories these awards represent.

“Our staff, including Kelly Faymoville and Heather Trosper, is knowledgeable and engaged with the data they collect," Kissinger adds. "They are also a pleasure to work with, and deserve this recognition.”

In 2018, St. Agnes Hospital’s Emergency Department cared for more than 500 trauma patients, and 2019 is trending along the same lines.
