During medical school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Bre Anna Nagle, MD, a family medicine physician at the Fond du Lac Regional Clinic in Waupun, was a part of the Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine (WARM) program. She knew that she wanted to return to her small town of Waupun in the same environment that she was raised in.
During her training, Dr. Nagle spent some time at the Fond du Lac Regional Clinic in Waupun both as a medical student and as a resident. She felt very welcomed and connected to the patients that she was seeing.
“I really enjoy the variety of patients and concerns in family medicine,” she says, “no two days are the same. I appreciate our team approach to care, and helping people understand their medical issues and assisting them with reaching their health goals.”
My style of care matches the environment within Agnesian HealthCare and SSM Health. “I see all ages of patients wherever they are at in life’s journey,” according to Dr. Nagle. “I spend a lot of time on education so that patients can be more involved with health care decisions. I take a whole body approach, realizing that one area of health (mind, body, spiritual) often affects the other areas.”
When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Nagle enjoys hiking (she loves Devil’s Lake and has been going there since childhood), running, spending time with my husband and daughter, cooking and going to farmer’s markets.
Dr. Nagle is so appreciative to be back home again. “I love the small town feel, the convenience of being not too far from the bigger cities when needed, the Horicon Marsh and the various local trails,” Dr. Nagle says, “and the community is kind and welcoming.”
Dr. Nagle sees patients at the Fond du Lac Regional Clinic, 608 W. Brown Street, Waupun. For more information or to schedule an appointment with Dr. Nagle, call (920) 324-6801.
