Agnesian HealthCare welcomes internist Ronald Lisiecki, MD, to Agnesian HealthCare’s Fond du Lac Regional Clinic, 900 Main Street, Brownsville. He is now accepting new patients.
He joins Gerald Nelezen, DO, family medicine; and Andi Weigand, APNP, family medicine nurse practitioner. Douglas Wonder, DO, family medicine, is transitioning to the Agnesian Convenient Care Clinic in Fond du Lac offering walk-in services, effective March 1.
As a board-certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Lisiecki offers comprehensive health care services to men and women, including preventive care, diagnosis and non-surgical treatment.
Internal medicine doctors, also called internists, specialize in diagnosing and treating adult health concerns. They have had specialty training focusing on the prevention and treatment of adult diseases. They also are trained to solve diagnostic concerns, and can treat severe chronic illnesses and situations where several different illnesses may occur at the same time.
They also bring to patients an understanding of wellness (disease prevention and the promotion of health), women’s health, substance abuse and mental health, as well as effective treatment of common concerns of the eyes, ears, skin, nervous system and reproductive organs. When other medical specialists, such as surgeons, are involved, internal medicine doctors coordinate their patient’s care and manage medical conditions associated with that care.
“I look forward to providing quality care to the local Brownsville community,” says Dr. Lisiecki. “If they need me, I will be there for them.”
A graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Lisiecki completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Lisiecki is a private pilot and HAM radio operator (WB6FDY) who enjoys playing the accordion and downhill skiing.
