Agnesian HealthCare Foundation’s Charity Open gears up for 31st year

Tickets are now on sale for the annual Agnesian HealthCare Foundation Charity Open raffle. The drawing is scheduled for Monday, August 19.

Proceeds from the event support Agnesian HealthCare Hospice Hope and help ensure that all patients have access to these vital services regardless of their ability to pay.

This year’s raffle gives people the opportunity to win the first-place prize of a 2019 Chevrolet Trax LT or a $15,000 cash prize, donated by Holiday Automotive. The second prize is $5,000 cash; third prize is $2,500 cash; fourth prize is $1,500 cash; and fifth place is $1,000 cash. A limited number of tickets will be sold at $50 each or four for $175. The purchase of six raffle tickets helps provide one day of hospice care for one person.

Now in its 31st year, the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation is planning an eventful day of golf at South Hills Golf & Country Club, elegant dining and exciting auctions.                

The Agnesian HealthCare Foundation Charity Open is being led by Drs. Robert and Brenda Grass as senior chairpersons, with Paul and Michelle Muche joining as junior chairpersons.

“We are so blessed within our community to receive such tremendous support for the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation Charity Open,” says Dr. Robert Grass. “Those individuals and businesses that rally around Agnesian HealthCare’s Hospice Hope services appreciate this vital program and have heard firsthand how area individuals and families benefit.”

Continued financial support is essential to helping patients that are facing end of life. The mission of hospice is to affirm life and view dying as a natural process. Hospice is designed to help patients live the remainder of their lives as fully as possible.

“We are looking forward to joining this incredible fund-raising event and helping to achieve some hefty goals,” says Michelle Muche. “But, in the end, we know that we will welcome returning supporters to help with our endeavors as well as new individuals who are learning about this important program.”
