Agnesian Bereavement Services offers an Equine Experience for grieving teens entering eighth to 12th grade in fall. The session is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13.
The Equine Experience is a unique approach. Through interaction with horses, teenagers are able to express and recognize their grief. Equine intervention can improve empathy, stress tolerance and independence.
Thanks for funding from the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation, the session is free of charge.
Registration is now underway; space is limited.
