American Cancer Society: Relay for Life

The Agnesian Cancer Center has partnered with the American Cancer Society in the fight against cancer. Through the annual “Relay for Life”, we show our dedication to cancer patients and families in our community and beyond. The Relay for Life is held in in Ripon in late spring, in Waupun in June and in Fond du Lac on the first Friday of every August.

Because of the generosity and dedication of the Fond du Lac, Ripon and Waupun communities, we have been able to raise more money than any other community of similar size in the entire Midwest region of the United States.

Although the Relay for Life is a culminating event that is held once per year in each community, the Agnesian Cancer Center staff participates in fundraiser activities throughout the year.

Cancer Survivor's Day

Cancer Survivor's Day is celebrated the first Sunday of June each year to honor the strength and courage of patients living with a cancer diagnosis.  Organized by the staff at the Agnesian Cancer Center, the program includes a talk from a cancer survivor and gives an opportunity to discuss survivorship with patients and caregivers.

Know & Go

As part of the Agnesian HealthCare’s effort to educate the community on ways to achieve and maintain healthy lifestyles,  the Agnesian Cancer Center is proud to take part in the Know & Go initiatives.  To find out more about the programs offered through Know & Go, click here.

Living Smart

Agnesian Cancer Center participates in an annual “Living Smart” event each spring.  This free health event offers the community an opportunity to learn more about the importance of cancer awareness and early detection, as well as cancer risk reduction.
