He is married to Kavita Sharma, a palliative care physician, and they a six-year-old daughter, Karishma. His personal interests include participating in community activities, reading and spending time with his family. Dr. Bhatara specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary (lung) conditions and diseases, including emphysema, tuberculosis, asthma, complicated infections of the chest, injury, and complications of respiratory diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
