Grief Relief

Grief Relief is a peer support group for children, teens and families. Grief Relief provides support for children, teens and their families following the death of a parent, caregiver, sibling, family member or friend. Grief Relief’s mission is to provide a safe place where children, teens, and families can grieve openly, sharing and moving through the grieving process in a supportive environment of their peers.

If an organization or facility has a need for a memorial service within your organization for your staff and residents, contact the Agnesian HealthCare Bereavement Center & Grief Relief at (920) 907-3940 to see if we can assist your organization.

Rebuilding Families One Backyard at a Time

Come join in the fun each spring for Grief Relief: Rebuilding Families "One Backyard at a Time."

Support grieving children and families in our community by purchasing raffle tickets and bidding on fabulous silent auction items. This event allows Grief Relief to offer grief support services free of charge to children and families who have experienced a death of a significant person in their lives.

Kids Survival Kamp

Sponsored by the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation, Kids Survival Kamp is a free two day summer camp for children who have experienced the death of a sibling, parent, grandparent or friend. Ages 6 through 16 years.

Kids Survival Kamp is a place where children can work through the grieving process after a loved one has died. Trained professionals – including counselors and trained volunteers – gently provide activities and fun in an atmosphere where children can share their emotions and concerns with peers. Staff ratio is one adult per five children.
