Advance Directives

Advance Directives are legal documents that include a Power of Attorney for Health Care, Living Will and Financial Power of Attorney for Health Care. You have the right to make decisions about your healthcare.

This includes the right to accept or refuse medical or surgical treatment. You also have the right to plan and direct the types of healthcare you may receive in the future if you become unable to express your wishes.

What you need to know?

These documents will express your desires or choose who you wish to make healthcare decisions for you in the event that you are unable to do so yourself. There is assistance available locally in the preparation and filing of these documents.
