Agnesian HealthCare welcomes Filip Troicki, MD, MBA, radiation oncologist, to the Agnesian Cancer Center, 480 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac.
As a radiation oncologist, Dr. Troicki is the physician responsible for the radiation therapy given to a patient. Patients are typically referred to a radiation oncologist by another cancer physician or by a primary care doctor.
After evaluating the patient, reviewing tests and talking with the patient’s other cancer physicians, the radiation oncologist prescribes a treatment plan for the patient. Throughout the treatment, the radiation oncologist monitors the patient’s condition to maintain high-quality care. The radiation oncologist also works to identify and treat any side effects from the treatments.
Dr. Troicki joins other radiation oncologists at the Agnesian Cancer Center, including Drs. Timothy Kortyko and Michael Vander Kooy.
“My goal is to provide compassionate care 100 percent of the time,” says Dr. Troicki. “I believe that compassion helps me develop the best possible care plan for patients.”
A graduate of the Drexel University College of Medicine, Dr. Troicki completed his radiation oncology residency at Hahnemann University Hospital. In addition to English, Dr. Troicki speaks Polish and German.
“What attracted me to Agnesian HealthCare is their focus on providing compassionate care to the entire community,” says Dr. Troicki. “They are engaged in every aspect of the community – from developing safe places for kids to helping residents live healthy and productive lives.”
Dr. Troicki and his wife, Juliane, live in Malone with their children, Oskar, 7; Kasper, 6; Felix, 2; and Hanna-Sophie, four months. He loves to barbecue, do home renovations, and take his family on scenic drives. His family, faith and friends are very important.
