Ripon community supports Foundation for Ripon Medical Center Denim & Pearls
Individuals from the Ripon community and beyond enjoyed an evening of delectable food, and bountiful silent and live auction items to raise more than $25,000 to help support construction of a wellness center at the new Ripon Medical Center.
A total of 144 guests experienced an evening of elegance and interactive food stations at a new venue this year, Ripon College’s Great Hall.
“This year’s Denim & Pearls guests were pampered with delicious food and wine choices, as well as many generously-donated items they were able to consider and bid on through our silent and live auctions,” says Rita Meidam, Foundation for Ripon Medical Center executive director. “We are so appreciative of the generous support we received this year, and know that it will be well used through our new wellness center.”
Molly Moffitt, of Fond du Lac, was the lucky winner of a beautiful set of pearl earrings. To win, Moffitt purchased a box of Hughes chocolates, which had the winning entry. A matching pearl necklace was also auctioned off that evening. Each participant received a specially-engraved, long-stem wine glass.
Denim & Pearls sponsors included: Alliance Laundry Systems, BMO Harris, Butzin – Marchant Funeral Home, CD Smith Construction, Central WI Anesthesiology Associates, Century 21 Properties Unlimited, Commonwealth Landscape & Maintenance, Consultants Laboratory, Diedrich Jewelers, Horicon State Bank, JF Ahern, Promotions with Pizzazz, Ripon Drug, Ripon Printers, Shea Electric & Communications, WJ Leasa Electric, Wurtz Law Office, LLC, and Yeoman’s Edinger Chiropractic.
