Waupun Memorial Hospital welcomes New Year’s baby

Waupun Memorial Hospital has welcomed its first baby of the New Year. Charlotte Marie Westra was born Friday, January 3 at 8:08 p.m. to Mike and Sarah Westra, of Randolph. Charlotte Marie weighed eight pounds, six ounces and was 21 inches long. She joins her brother, Myles Westra, two.

Steven Sheppard, DO, a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist with Agnesian HealthCare and Ripon Medical Center, delivered Charlotte Marie. Dr. Sheppard partners with Scott Hansfield, MD, also a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist at Agnesian HealthCare and Waupun Memorial Hospital.

As the first baby of the year, Charlotte Marie and her family were given a basket full of baby items from Waupun Memorial Hospital Women & Infants Unit associates.
