Agnesian HealthCare Psychiatric Associates in Beaver Dam continues to expand its services welcoming new providers and expanded services to the community.
Psychiatric Associates most recently welcomed Todd Cannon, DO, a psychiatrist who provides services to adults. He earned his medical degree from Des Moines University and psychiatric training from the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Cannon treats a full spectrum of mental illnesses with medication management in collaboration with primary care providers.
Leon Kuhs, MD, a psychiatrist, is expanding his practice by two additional days each week. He earned his degree from the University of Illinois, School of Medicine. Dr. Kuhs sees patients under age 18.
In addition, Psychiatric Associates recently welcomed Lori Rost, CSAC, a licensed clinical substance abuse counselor. She received her degree in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling from Fox Valley Technical College. Rost has been working as an alcohol and other drug abuse (AODA) counselor since 1994. She assesses and treats individuals presenting with substance abuse issues as young as 14 through the lifespan. Services are provided on an individual and group basis.
Krystle Schmitz, MA, LPC-IT,is a licensed professional counselor in training, who received her master’s degree in Community Counseling from Lakeland College. As a psychotherapist, she enjoys working with children, adolescents and young adults who may be struggling with issues that include trauma/abuse, anger and stress management, anxiety disorders, depression, self-esteem, adjustment and social skills difficulties, parenting and behavioral concerns.
Psychiatric Associates, a service of Agnesian HealthCare, is an outpatient mental health clinic providing a full range of mental health, and drug and alcohol services to individuals of all ages.
