Agnesian EZ CareAgnesian HealthCare is offering another level of patient convenience in its diversified array of medical services through Agnesian EZ Care, located at 1107 E. Johnson Street , adjacent to Festival Foods in Fond du Lac. Staffed by highly-trained nurse practitioners, Agnesian EZ Care offers area residents and their families high-quality healthcare that is affordable, accessible, convenient and fast for specified common health illnesses. Patients are normally seen within 15 minutes. Nurse practitioners who specialize in family healthcare diagnose and treat minor illnesses such as colds, flu, sore throats, ear infections, bronchitis, bladder infections, pink eye/sty, sinus infections, swimmers ear, minor skin infections and rashes, impetigo, seasonal allergies, insect bites, cold sores, mononucleosis and minor sunburns. Services are available for individuals' age two years and above. This new service is supported by the broader resources of Agnesian HealthCare, including physicians. Other convenient services include vaccinations (Hepatitis B, Td/Tdap, menactra, pneumonia, HPV, flu); and basic medical screenings (glucose, blood pressure, rapid influenza and strep, urinalysis, tuberculosis, mononucleosis). The service is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary. A visit will cost $45 – including laboratory services, which can be conveniently paid with cash, checks and credit cards, or patients can have the visit filed through their insurance providers ($59 per visit). Prices of vaccinations and screenings will vary. The new Agnesian EZ Care complement the services already provided at the Agnesian Convenient Care Clinic, 145 N. Main Street, which continues to treat patients on a walk-in basis – from infants to older adults – with acute health illnesses or injuries, such as broken bones and lacerations. A physician is always on-site. Hours at the Agnesian Convenient Care Clinic remain 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays; 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekends; and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. holidays. If patients arrive at Agnesian EZ Care and are too sick, they are evaluated and sent to either Agnesian Convenient Care Clinic or the St. Agnes Hospital Emergency Department. |
