Agnesian HealthCare Cancer Care Services is hosting its National Cancer Survivor's event from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on June 3 in the Plaza Level Conference Center (participants should use the St. Agnes Hospital entrance; off the four-way stoplights),430 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac. 

The event will feature welcoming remarks and a survivorship message from Bill Ramage, a larynx cancer survivor. In addition, Kelli Little and Kari Jones, American Cancer Society patient navigators, will talk about the role of a patient navigator and Michael Vander Kooy, MD, Agnesian HealthCare board-certified radiation oncologist, will discuss improvements in cancer survivorship. S. Rebecca Endres, CSA, will provide the reflection.
 
Participants will also enjoy musical entertainment by Four Bits of Fun barbershop quartet and a refreshment social. All cancer survivors will receive a budding plant signifying new life, in honor of this special day (courtesy of Woods Floral & Gifts).

Sponsored by the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation, Kids Survival Kamp is a free two day camp for children who have experienced the death of a sibling, parent, grandparent or friend. Ages 6 through 16 years.

Kids Survival Kamp is a place where children can work through the grieving process after a loved one has died. Trained professionals – including counselors and trained volunteers – gently provide activities and fun in an atmosphere where children can share their emotions and concerns with peers. Staff ratio is one adult per five children.

The Agnesian HealthCare Foundation Garden Walk, including an art fair and garden party, is set for Sunday, July 15, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Rain or shine.
