Grief Relief - Peer Support for Grieving Children & Families

Grief Relief is a peer support group for grieving children and families. Grief Relief provides support for children, teens, and their families following the death of a parent, primary caregiver, sibling, family member or friend throught peer support groups and education. Grief Relief's mission is to provide a safe place where children, teens, and their families can grieve openly, sharing and moving through the grief process in a supportive environment of their peers.


Family orientation is required for Grief Relief.

Gentle Yoga

Centering on breath control and coordination of breath and movement, gentle yoga can be deeply therapeutic, helping address health issues that are structural, physiological, energetic or psycho-emotional.


Join Suzanne Boyle, a certified Viniyoga instructor with the Fond du Lac Center for Spirituality and Healing for a six-week gentle yoga program that will deepen your existing knowledge of yoga with meditation and visualization techniques to strengthen mental focus, relieve stress and anxiety, and awaken to the inner peace and joy that is your birthright.


Class dates include Tuesdays, February 16 to March 22.

Open Bereavement Support Group: This group is intended for individuals who are grieving the death of someone closes to them, whether the death was two months or two year ago. Group provides a safe environment to share feelings such as guilt, anger, fear, or loneliness.


Please join us at the Bereavement Center behind Twohig Flooring America, near the Kwik Trip on the west side of Fond du Lac.

Healthcare Provider CPR

Agnesian HealthCare Journeys: a health resource center, 430 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac

Healthcare Provider CPR teaches healthcare providers the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device and oxygen), use of an AED and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction in responsive and non-responsive victims. A course completion card is given upon successful completion of a practical and written exam.

Grief 101 - Is a Grief Support Group open to anyone between the ages of 18-25 years old who have experienced the death of someone close. The public is invited to a book fair, sponsored by the Agnesian HealthCare Volunteers, from Wednesday, February 17 to Friday, February 19 at Agnesian HealthCare’s lobby concourse, 430 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac.
The book fair runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on February 17; from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on February 18; and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on February 19.


Proceeds will benefit patient programs and services, and the Agnesian HealthCare Volunteers Scholarship Fund.
A wide selection of quality hardcover books will be discounted 50 to 75 percent off retail prices! This sale features bestsellers, children, reference, sports, hobby, nature and wildlife, and cookbooks. All books are available for immediate purchase. Proceeds benefit the scholarship fund.

Postpartum Depression Group

Agnesian HealthCare Journeys: a health resource center, 430 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac

Facilitated by Colleen Zietlow, LMFT, Agnesian HealthCare Behavioral Health Services Psychotherapist, Agnesian HealthCare's Postpartum Depression group offers education and support for women who are experiencing or are at risk for postpartum depression.This group is also open to women who are struggling emotionally after childbirth and need to connect with others.


Participants will learn about adjusting to their new role as a parent, bonding with their newborn, expectations vs. reality, boundaries, social support, adjusting to relationship changes, physical demands of the newborn, emotional effects of pregnancy, childbirth and the role of hormones. This group will also give mothers the opportunity to talk, listen and share their experiences with other women experiencing similar feelings.


Mothers are invited to bring their babies to group sessions.


This support group meets the first and third Wednesday of each month from 1 to 2 p.m.

Domestic Violence Support Group - Shine

Shine is a support group for women who have been abused physically, sexually, verbally and emotionally, or who are currently involved in a domestic violence relationship.


Shine is an open support group and meets Thursday evenings from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Agnesian HealthCare's Behavioral Health Services Meeting Room, Diagnostic & Treatment Center fifth floor, 430 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac.

Expectant parents in their mid to late third trimester of pregnancy are invited to join St. Agnes Hospital Women & Infants Unit labor and delivery nurses for a two-part class that focuses on mom and baby, after baby has been born. Session one focuses on mom - body changes after delivery; breast care, baby blues, relationships, work and child care, diet and exercise and expectations. Session two is all about baby, including newborn characteristics, feeding, sleeping, soothing, bathing, illness and more! 


Class dates are February 18 & 25.
