Breastfeeding for Moms & Dads

Please join us at our new location on the west end of Twohig Flooring America, near the Kwik Trip on the west side of Fond du Lac.

Domestic violence affects everyone involved, including the family and friends of the person being abused. The Affected Family Members Group provides family and friends a place of support, healing and learning to help support loved ones while they are in the abusive relationship and after thay have left the abusive relationship.


This open support group meets the first and third Thursday of each month from 5 to 6:30 p.m. 


For more information about this free support group, call (920) 923-4303. Contact with the Domestic Violence Program must be made prior to participating in this group.


Family members and friends must be at least 18 years of age to participate in this support group.

Eating Disorder Support Group

Agnesian HealthCare Sixth Floor Meeting Room, 430 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac

Individuals 18 and older who are maintaining a healthy weight and/or compliant with their meal plan (if on one), and in recovery from an eating disorder (anorexia, bulimia or binge eating), are invited to attend this free support group to assist them during their recovery from eating disorders. This group is not intended for those struggling severely or who have relapsed.


In order to attend this group, members are required to see a therapist and/or dietitian regularly, and will be expected to sign a release of information at the first group so the group facilitators and treatment team can remain in contact should a safety issue arise.


Group facilitators have the right to ask individuals to leave or take a break from the group if they become inappropriate (relapse or become too ill that they would be a risk to themselves or other members).


Before admission to this group, members must contact Colleen Hanson, MS, LPC, at (920) 926-4389, or Alicia Jennerjohn, RD, at (920) 926-4674 to be screened. Members cannot show up to group without being screened by one of the above.

Expectant parents in their mid to late third trimester of pregnancy are invited to join St. Agnes Hospital Women & Infants Unit labor and delivery nurses for a two-part class that focuses on mom and baby, after baby has been born. Session one focuses on mom - body changes after delivery; breast care, baby blues, relationships, work and child care, diet and exercise and expectations. Session two is all about baby, including newborn characteristics, feeding, sleeping, soothing, bathing, illness and more! 


Class dates are September 18 & 25

Weight Watchers meetings cover nutrition advice and exercise tips to help members lose weight. Weight Watchers also offers advice and recipes on its web site, and sells products, such as recipe books, a magazine, food and vitamins.

Family & Friends CPR for Expectant Parents teaches lay rescuers skills in adult, child and infant CPR and relief of foreign body airway obstruction in the responsive victim. The course presents information about the American Heart Association (AHA) adult Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults. The course also presents information on the AHA pediatric Chain of Survival, signs of choking in infants and children, prevention of the most common fatal pediatric injuries and reduction in the risk of sudden infant death syndrome.
