Beginning & Intermediate Core Strength Training

Time: 6 p.m.

Location: Agnesian HealthCare Plaza Level Conference Center, 430 E. Division Street

Cost: $15 per person - Participants will receive a resistance band

You may be wondering what exactly is core strength and why should one worry about it? Core strength training focuses on the muscles in the abdomen, hips, back and chest. All of our movements are powered by the torso, the body’s center of power. The abs and back work together to support the spine when we sit, stand, bend over, pick things up, exercise and more.

Join Jean Rusch, certified personal aerobic and weight and fitness trainer, for an interactive class for beginning and intermediate students. Participants will use resistance bands that will teach specific core strengthening exercises that can strengthen and tone, help prevent back pain and improve balance and stability. You won’t want to miss this class!

This class is not recommended for individuals who have current pain or have had a recent surgery.
