Agnesian HealthCare and the Fond du Lac Family YMCA are partnering with Walk With a Doc to create a safe, walkable community.

The collaborative mission is to encourage healthy physical activity in people of all ages, and reverse the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle in order to improve the health and well-being of the country.

Join providers Mondays through Friday between 8 and 9:30 a.m., and Wednesdays from 4 to 5 p.m., to begin your commitment of improved health and well-being.

Step it Up! The Surgeon General of the United States recommends 150 minutes of weekly exercise.

Be a Walk With a Doc member to receive the following benefits:

  • Receive a t-shirt
  • Prizes awarded quarterly for number of miles walked
  • Monthly provider health talks
  •    Topics, dates and times vary

Agnesian HealthCare Volunteers Uniform Sale

The Agnesian HealthCare Volunteers have scheduled two uniform sales in January. All proceeds will benefit patient programs and services.

The first sale is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23 at the Agnesian Health Plaza A in the Mary Agnes Room, 421 Camelot Drive, Fond du Lac. The second sale is set from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 25 at the Agnesian HealthCare lobby concourse, 430 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac.

PRN Uniforms will feature a selection of more than 4,000 items from top manufacturers, including scrubs, shoes and accessories at affordable prices. A few of the brand names you will see are Crest, Rockers, Peaches, Nursemates, Cherokee and more. There will be a wide selection of seasonal and sport prints to choose from.

You will not want to miss this great opportunity to purchase new footwear in new styles. Checks, Visa and

MasterCard will be accepted. Quickcharge is available for employees.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS CPR teaches lay rescuers skills in adult, child and infant CPR and relief of foreign body airway obstruction in the responsive victim. The course presents information about the American Heart Association (AHA) adult Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults. The course also presents information on the AHA pediatric Chain of Survival, signs of choking in infants and children, prevention of the most common fatal pediatric injuries and reduction in the risk of sudden infant death syndrome. A course “participation card” is given to each participant.

RMC Triathlon

This Ripon Medical Center event combines the rich history of the Green Lake Conference Center, its beautiful grounds and the deepest inland lake in Wisconsin to attract racers from all over the Midwest. The course includes an amazing lake swim, rolling hills on the bike and secluded run course making this triathlon perfect for beginners to veterans.
