The Hospice Home of Hope is a 12-bed residential facility, located on County Road K, that provides comfort care to individuals with a life expectancy of less than six months. Volunteers play a crucial role in supporting patients and families by offering assistance with personal cares, respite care, running errands, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation and emotional support. They also provide clerical assistance in the hospice office.
Agnesian HealthCare's Hospice Hope relies on volunteers of all ages to help provide comfort to patients in its traditional in-home hospice program, both in the Fond du Lac and Green Lake areas, as well as its new Hospice Home of Hope.
Giving just a few hours a week can make a difference to patients and families who are dealing with a life-threatening illness.
