Agnesian HealthCare, a member of SSM Health, is supporting Fond du Lac youth soccer players through a donation to the Fond du Lac Soccer Association.

The donation will help ensure a safe playing environment for the more than 1,500 youth players in the Fond du Lac community.

“The Fond du Lac Soccer Association’s soccer fields are a highly-visited venue in our community,” according to Katherine Vergos, St. Agnes Hospital president. “Ensuring that they are clean, safe and well-maintained for our youth now and in the future is important. Agnesian HealthCare is helping to offset costs for all youth who want to participate but cannot afford to.”

Chad Collett, president of the Fond du Lac Soccer Association, says the donation will be extremely beneficial to local soccer players and teams.

“Maintaining a 53-acre soccer complex, utilized by more than 1,500 youth players in the Fond du Lac community annually, comes at a high cost,” Collett says. “This donation will support our organization as we continue to provide a safe playing environment for all our players, coaches, referees and fans. As a non-profit, we could not provide these facilities or programs without the support of local donors like Agnesian HealthCare.”
